Dr Craig Hassed is an internationally recognised expert in mindfulness and meditation and is the co-founder, former President and now Patron of the Meditation Association of Australia (MAA). He has presented at national and international seminars and conferences and has published extensively in the areas of mind-body medicine and mindfulness. He has been instrumental in promoting mindfulness as a simple, natural and accessible technique for enhancing wellness, preventing and managing illness, and in improving performance within health, educational and corporate settings.
Craig is a media commentator, featuring in the recent The Connection: Mind Your Body documentary and writes regularly for medical journals and has published two volumes entitled New Frontiers in Medicine (1 &2). He is also the author of a number of best-selling books, including “Mindfulness for Life” (with Dr Stephen McKenzie) and “Mindful Learning: Reduce Stress and Improve Brain Performance for Effective Learning” (with Dr Richard Chambers).
