Gareth Andrews has spent over 50 years in the AFL as a premiership player, an administrator, on radio and television, in written media and as Vice-President of the Geelong Cats. He ran his own successful property businesses and in more recent years established Life Again, a foundation dedicated to educating and connecting men through times of change.
A former Geelong and Richmond footballer, playing 167 games from 1965-75 including being a member of the Richmond 1974 Premiership side, he has been a Director and Vice President of Geelong Football club from 1998 to the end of 2013 and was the joint founder of the VFL (now AFL) Players Association and a former President. He has also worked in the media, on radio and TV for 10 years with the ABC and with the Sunday Age for 9 years.
Gareth was initially introduced to meditation in 1978 and, after years of losing his way, found the practice again in 2005; he now meditates daily.
